What we do
We feed it from work that already exists. It never scores anyone and never writes a rating; it produces evidence and stops there, on purpose.
The problem
Once or twice a year the manager writes eight reviews from memory, and memory is recent. The person who did their best work in March is quietly worse off than the person who did theirs in October. Nobody intended that.
The fix
Evidence is collected all year, one file per person, at a cost of about a minute a week instead of a weekend in December. At review time the manager reads evidence and forms the judgment. The judgment stays entirely theirs.
How it was built
Fed from work that already exists: what shipped, feedback that was written down, notes from one-to-ones. It never scores anyone and never writes a rating. It produces evidence and stops there, on purpose. That refusal is the design.
