Geppetto makes technology that keeps people human.
Champ’s studio for thinking and making with technology, through teaching, tools, and toys. Consulting, writing, and translation are part of the practice too.

Glimmer
A small character on the desktop that runs real procedures behind its face.
What we doVoice in, two languages, your existing workflows underneath. The interface is a personality and nothing beneath it is reimplemented.

Lumos
Point one finger into the dark and living light gathers on the fingertip.
What we doWe place it in a dark room, a queue or a children's zone. The simplest thing here to understand and the hardest to walk away from.

Vane
A bonsai on a 64-pixel wall panel that lives through the real weather outside.
What we doWe build the calm ambient display for a lobby, a studio or a desk. One thing that matters, with nothing to log into.

reTerminal
A desk e-paper dashboard. Three-day calendar, today's tasks, room climate, a countdown.
What we doCustom firmware on a seven-inch e-paper device, battery powered, repainting only on change. The server renders and the device only blits, which is why Thai comes out right.

Foundry
One block of type and eleven systems that bend, wrap, shatter and drop it.
What we doWe build a title sequence, a launch loop or a typographic centrepiece for a stand, where the wordmark has to do something rather than sit there.

Thinking with Claude Code
A working day that takes a room from never having built anything to shipping a small tool of their own.
What we doWe run it in-house for your team, full day or a two-hour cut. People leave with something they built, which is the only version of this that changes behaviour.
Teach
Learn to frame a question, make something with technology, and judge the result for yourself.
Tools
Tools that take care of the routine and leave the decisions that matter with you.
Toys
Objects and experiences that invite curiosity, play, and connection.
Think
Work through a question together, decide what matters, and find what is worth making.
Text
Books, essays, and translations about people, technology, and culture. Words of our own and work with others.
What would you like to think through,
make, or learn?
A course, a useful tool, a playful experience, or a piece of writing. Tell me what you have in mind, even if it is still a question. We can work out where to begin together.
